National Science Foundation New Dates February 23-26, 2026

The National Science Foundation in partnership with The Tribal Nations Research Group (TNRG) is excited to announce that the 2026 Tribal Colleges and Universities Program (TCUP) Research Symposium will be held February 23-26, 2026 in Alexandria, VA.

The TCUP Research Symposium provides the opportunity for the National Science Foundation to showcase emerging researchers and their research at TCUP institutions. The symposium is part of NSF’s on-going efforts to determine impacts and offer the best support for future growth in STEM education and research. 

On behalf of TNRG and NSF, we would like to cordially invite you to submit an abstract for our 2026 TCUP Research Symposium as an oral/poster presenter to the Symposium. The Symposium is providing travel assistance to selected TCUP institution awardees and we strongly encourage you to apply! 

If you are interested in attending, we have provided some important dates to remember:

• November 28, 2025: Initial Abstracts due to Symposium planning team;
• December 19, 2025: Selected Abstracts Notified;
• January 9, 2026: Final Abstracts Due;
• February 6, 2026: Final Presentations and Posters Due
• February 23-26, 2026: TCUP Research Symposium
