Abstract Guidelines

If you have not previously participated in the TCUP Research Symposium, the Symposium is designed to further the education, research, and professional careers of STEM students and faculty at Tribal Colleges and Universities that are eligible for grants from the NSF Tribal Colleges and Universities Program. This is part of NSF’s on-going efforts to offer the best support for future growth in STEM education and research, specifically at Tribal colleges. This is a highly anticipated event and invitation is only extended to those that are selected to present. Oral & Poster presenters will have the opportunity to showcase their research to NSF Officers who rarely have the opportunity to view the research, listen, and interact with those that perform research at TCU’s.

On behalf of TNRG and NSF, we would like to cordially invite you to submit an abstract for our 2023 TCUP Research Symposium as an oral/poster presenter. The Symposium is providing travel assistance to select TCUP institution awardees and we strongly encourage you to apply!

ABSTRACT GUIDELINES:

  • PLEASE READ THROUGH THE TEMPLATE BELOW AND ADHERE TO THE FORMATTING GUIDELINES.
  • The body of the abstract should be no more than 500 words, formatted in Microsoft Word, single spaced, size 12 Times New Roman font, and no more than one page.

  • November 29, 2024: Initial Abstracts due to Symposium planning team for selection
  • January 10, 2025: Final Abstracts Due
